In May 2015 I took a bus ride from New York to Niagara Falls, to Washington DC and Philadelphia. My assigned seat was beside a damaged window. Inside it was trapped with condensed water. Initially I was annoyed, because nobody on the bus wanted to swap seats with me. But then I decided to use this disadvantage to my photographic benefit.
It was a very special, exclusive window to another world, formed by the speed of the bus, the distorting and blurring qualities of the wet window and the reflections in the glass.
